I have finally made it to Canada. Now I thought Canada was going to be country 109 on the Travellers Century Club list but it isnt… It’s country number 110. How do I work that out? Simple! Travellers Century club counts Siberia as a separate country as it is Russian Asia and NOT part of Europe. Anyway, I digress…

Halifax… I took a ship tour for photographers and did a quick run around the main sites including the Citadel, Peggy’s Cove where the worlds most photographed lighthouse is, the City Gardens, the Old Properties, and the Titanic grave sites amongst other things.

Whilst the tour was very much a whistlestop tour of Halifax, it gave me an idea of where I want to go when I return to Halifax next week. For those that dont know, Halifax is where the rescue efforts for the Titanic was launched from. It has the largest grave yard of Titanic victims of which about 30% are still in unnamed graves.
