Delhi Belly, The Rangoon Rumbles, Montezuma’s revenge, Traveler’s Tummy or in this case The Thimphu Trembles… call it what you will. All I can say is that when you are standing on the top of a Himalayan mountain and you feel that first cramp in your stomach you know it’s going to be an interesting day! I think I can now say I have left my mark on a mountain top 🙂

Moving right along…

Today was a pretty good day. I visited the oldest Dzong (temple) in Bhutan, saw some more monks (interestingly enough if you become a monk here you are expected to commit unlike some other Asian countries I have been to recently), went to the Dochula Pass, walked around town, saw the world’s biggest sitting Buddha and finally saw a Takin for the first time.

Considering my ummm… delicate state, I think I managed to still fit quite a bit in.

Internet is a little too slow to add pics but I will when I can…
